Today we suggest you satisfy your sweet tooth try some "Ensaïmadas" from Forn Mistral, a great bakery located in Plaza Universitat. 

Ensaïmada is a traditional Spanish pastry that can be filled with cream or cabello de angel, normally served at breakfast or as an afternoon snack.

Visit the Casa Calvet of Barcelona, one of Antoni Gaudí’s first works. It is considered the architect’s most conservative work, but it is marked by modernista elements.

The Palau Montaner, designed by Josep Domenech i Estapà, is one of the few examples of modernista mansions that we can find in Barcelona.

The Palau Baró de Quadras has been housing the Casa Asia since 2003. It is a modernista building designed with great imagination by Josep Puig i Cadafalch.

Our modernist route continues today with Palau Baró de Quadras by Josep Puig i Cadafalch. The building was totally refurbished in only one year, as requested by its owner, the Baron of Quadras. Location: Avinguda Diagonal, 373.
